all it would take

My husband and i were talking about the strikes, shutdowns etc.  He had the best idea to me.  Wanna hit them where it hurts.  park the fuel trucks.  Give it two days. EVERYTHING would stop, no cars, no trucks, no planes etc could move.  Then they would realize what we do.  It would be nice but it is all a dream.

What really sux, is the fact that, I have noticed in the past with "gas strikes" that the oil companies hike up prices even more in the end to make up the profit lost during the strike.  :::sigh:::  We as consumers just cannot win.....

This is SO true. Strikes only hurt the people who are striking, when it comes to the trucking industry.

My wife works for "another" trucking company (Not the one where I work) as a billing rep. She asked what they were going to do during the "strike". They told her they was going to pick up all the freight they could. She almost quit.

This is the way trucking companies are working now. It is not for the driver nor the Owner Ops anymore. It's all about the profits.
