Blog Entry: Anyone who owns a truck,,,,shut them down!!!!!!!!!!! A message needs to be sent to the fuel producers, and the government that grinding all of our livelihoods, families, our hopes and dreams into the ground threw ridicules fuel prices is not just going to break us alone, but is a national security issue at the core. When milk is ten dollars a gallon, there is no clothing at Wal-mart, there is no fuel at the gas stations, and no food at the grocery stores, people will start to scream. There are more important issues than politics!!! There are national economic disasters looming on the horizon. The housing bale out is just one. The economy survives on the commodities that are freighted across its lands. I am a private owner/operator that will shut down rather than go on making the fuel companies richer, and allowing the government to ignore and burry their heads in the sand hoping the problem goes away. Deregulation started this and regulation has to be put back in place to regulate fair profits for the fuel companies, and make them more competitive. And doing so will force government to ease the regulations that govern the building of new refineries, and force them to keep the price down. If Venezuelans can produce a gallon of gas for 50 cents and then sell it at a profit at $1.00, does that mean we have such different refining practices? I don’t think so. Profits and greed are driving this. Do not be fooled into believing the fuel industries lies about costs. There are some Companies who are buying gas and diesel already refined from unfriendly nations and this has to be stopped!!!!!!!
